Wanted Wednesday

Hey Ladies,
Today's Wanted Wednesday is actually stuff that is on the less expensive side, yay! I was researching some items over the weekend and found some stuff that I have to get asap.

Toms Corset shoes (black & silver). These shoes are amazing because of the lace. They really can dress a simple jean and shirt look yet they are so comfortable, oh and did I mention only $58!!! I love TOMS and BOBS shoes not only because they are cute and comfortable but because they give back (With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One). I actually have the BOBS  by Sketchers but they are practically the same shoe just different brand/price.

B.H Cosmetics neutral palette. I am in love with B.H cosmetics eye shadows so much because they stay on and they have like a million colors, well more like 120 or 88. The neutral palette is a whopping $24.95 for 88 colors and $18.95 for the 28 colors! How amazing is that!

Do you guys have either of these products? Do you like this week's Wanted Wednesday?

Hair...curly braid

Hey ladies,

I am so excited for today's hair day!! My sister-in-law who is an amazing hair stylist did my hair the other night and I fell in love because I am very into braids right now. I am going to do a step by step on how to achieve this amazing hair style below.

1. Get all your items together; bobby pins(not pictured), hair spray, and curling iron (hot tools 1 inch). For the curling iron I would 100% recommend a professional curling iron because your hair will curl in seconds because of how hot it gets and it is just a better quality item.

2. Take hair by sections, hair spray each section of hair (small amount per curl), and curl each section by wrapping hair around the curing iron.

3. Curl your whole head of hair and spray hair spray all over when finished.
* I have very long and thick hair but it took probably tops 15 minutes (only because my sister uses a smaller amount of hair per curl).
4. Now braid a small section of hair on one side of your head to go around the back of your head to your other side.
*I have slight bangs and had to start the braid higher up.
*If you don't have bangs you wont have to worry about the braid starting higher.
5. Braid that section of hair until the whole piece is braided. secure the end of the braid behind the opposite ear with bobby pins.
*Make sure you the curl cover up the bobby pins. This part is a little tricky but mess with it alittle bit and you will get it.
*Pull the braid on both sides slightly to make it look bigger and messier (optional)

6. Here is the finished product!

 So amazing and so cute!

Do you guys like this hair style? Do you guys like braids? Let me know if you have any requests for a step by step hair tutorial and I will do what I can do do one.

Makeup Monday

Hey pretty ladies,

For today's Makeup Monday I am going to talk about makeup styles for different shape eyes. It's weird but for years I have been wearing makeup and I now am just thinking about what type of eye makeup will really make my eyes pop! I have combination eyes: round/almond/big. I have tried different ways to do my makeup and some of them make me look ridiculous. So, I am going to go over some techniques I learned for different eye shapes.

                                                             Mary-Kate Olsen (round eyes)
» Use darker liner to slightly extend beyond the eyelid at the outer corners to give this illusion.
» Use a medium shade of eye shadow on the eyelid (up to the crease) and extend the shade slightly both slightly up toward the brow bone and slightly down toward the lower lid to create a more elongated eye appearance.

                                                                  Cameron Diaz (deep set)
» Use lighter iridescent shades on your lids to bring them out of their deep sockets and make them pop.
» Experiment with a darker contour shade in the crease for added drama.

Jennifer Aniston (close set)
» Create the illusion of width by lining only the outer half of the eye.
» Dab some very light shadow or liner on the inner corner of eyes right next to your nose. This will brighten them up.

Minka Kelly (almond: most common shape)
» Accentuate your up swept outer corner with dark liner for a sexy cat-eye look.
» Apply shadows in 3 tones (neutral on brow bone, medium on lid, and dark in the crease area) to make lids appear more defined and larger.

                                                                         Lucy Lo (asian)
» Line top and bottom lids lightly, apply plenty of mascara, and curl away. Extend your liner slightly past outer corners to create a small upturn and add definition on the lower half of your eye.

                                                                      Rhianna (wide set)
» Apply a deep colored liner along the entire rim of your lower lashes, including the inner corners which will inner eye corner to draw your eyes closer together visually.
» Place a lighter shadow over the middle of the eye to give your eye a more rounded appearance.

Which eye set do you guys have? Which makeup tips do you guys have for them too, I would love the input!!

*For this particular outfit, the black lacy bra with the white sheer shirt is one of my favorite looks. I would unbutton the white blouse to show a peek of the lace of the bra.

Celebrity Look ALike...Kourtney Kardashian

Celebrity Look ALike...Kourtney Kardashian

Hey guys,

Today's Celebrity Look Alike I am featuring the lovely Kourtney Kardashian in both looks. I absolutely adore her style so much, hence why she is in almost all of my Celebrity Looks Alike's.

I love these leopard shorts soooo much, I need to find them asap so I can wear them in the spring/summer! The blazer takes this outfit from cool and casual to dressy and chic!

If any of you know where to get these amazing leopard shorts, please  let me know!!

This next outfit is so cute, I love the bold necklace that she paired with this outfit because it adds that much needed color. The platform takes this whole outfit up a whole new level too! The only minus about this outfit is the skirt because it is very short and if your taller it might show a little too much skin! Luckily Kourtney is really short and can pull this skirt off.

I could only wish to have as great as style as Kourtney one day! She is my biggest fashion icon!

Which Kardashian do you guys like the best; Kourtney, Kim, or Khloe? Which of these 2 outfits would you guys pick to wear?

Planet jersey shirt, £39
Top, €24
H m blazer, £40
Lovers + Friends leopard print shorts, $99

What to Wear...meeting his parents

What to Wear...Meeting his Parents

I don't know if I am crazy but one of the hardest thing for me to do when I start dating someone new is meetings his parents. I want them to love me and I know that if I don't wear an appropriate outfit, it probably won't turn out good (no parent wants to meet you in your sweats or your clubbing wear). I think if you keep your outfit very classic (pearls), romantic (dress or skirt), and a little chic (do this with shoes or a purse) it can really go far when meeting his parents.
Now I will be the first to admit that I did not wear a dress or skirt the first time I met a boyfriend's parents however I did wear appropriate outfits like; polo and shorts or leggings and a sweater. The only reason that happened was because I was younger and they all lived with their parents. Luckily, guys my age are now living on their own, so their parents wont meet you until your boyfriend wants them to. I think now since I am 22 I will definitely wear a dress or skirt the next time I have to meet a boyfriends parents.
What outfits have you guys worn when meeting his parents for the first time? Let me know what other outfits you guys would pick for this blog too.

Trends for Spring....pastel shades

Pastel Shades

Some of you may be scared of these colors because they are very "Easter" looking but I think picking one piece of clothing to be a pastel shade will make you really pop in the spring and will make your look become more romantic and girly. What girl doesn’t like looking girly and romantic!

For many designers like Carolina Herrera and Narciso Rodriquez at this year's New York Fashion week, Pastel shades were a big hit. Pastel shades are very romantic but personally I think they should be worn minimally because we do not want to look like a big Easter egg!

Would you guys wear pastel shades for the spring ? If so, what colors would you all pick: purple, pink, blue, gree, yellow, or orange? I think I would actually go with purple or green. If you guys have any pastel clothing let me know if you like them and where you got them, I love input from other bloggers and fellow fashionistas!

Notte by Marchesa long ball gown, $370
Topshop body con dress, $90
Long cocktail dress, $53
Tea dress, $43
Cotton cardigan, $76
H M jumper sweater, £15
Topshop, $72
Denim pants, $44

Wanted Wednesday

For Wanted Wednesday I have 3 items that I literally have been looking to buy for the last 4 months. I really hope I can add these items to my closet soon!

I love these amazing wedge booties so much! These pretty little things are by Steve Madden and they are $125 and I am assuming they would be on sale now because winter is almost over! I would love to buy these so I guess I am going to have to wish to the God's to get these soon!

These shoes are soooo amazing and these are the babies I have been looking for. Since it is Wanted Wednesday I can put this bad boys up here, since I don't want to spend $136 on these :(
Ohh and if any of you know where to get these shoes other than at Topshop please leave a comment below!

These are something I have been wanting for the longest time because I have extremely short eyelashes, eyelash extensions. I actually got false eyelashes put on by my sister-in-law's brothers salon (Anthony Valentino Salon and Day Spa in Park Ridge, IL.) by a professional and let me  tell you they were amazing and they stayed on for almost a week!! I would love to get the ones that stay on all the time, that you have to get fixed every month but I cant really afford that yet.

So do any of you have any of these items and what do you think of them? I would love to hear your guys reviews of the items!

Hair...the bun

Hey guys,

So about a week ago I posted a blog about how to wear a bun, well actually it wasn't much of a blog since I wanted to show you how to make a perfect bun. Well today I am going to do that, with pictures!

1. Get bobby pins, tie, hairspray, shine spray(Redken, vinyl glam 02), and smoothing serum (Redken, glass 01)

2. Dab small amount of smoothing serum in hand, comb hair all the way through and spray it with your shine spray.
3. Put your hair in a high pony tail. For me this step takes a while for me because my hair is so thick and long. I some how always have those stupid little hair bumps when I put my hair in a pony tail.

-For messy buns, I pull some of the baby hairs around my face.
   - For sleek buns, spray your hair with water and hair spray it alot
-These pictures below are a top knot bun with slick hair.

4. Take small pieces of hair from the pony tail and wrap around hair tie and secure with bobby pins. Do this until all your hair from the pony tail in wrapped to form a bun.

-When your pulling each section of hair to wrap around your pony, for a messy bun, I tease my hair to make it bigger.
-If you want more of a top knot bun, you don't have to tease your hair, unless you have thin hair.

5. Spray your bun to make sure it won't fall out and now you are done.

-This is a big bun, you can pull the hair closer to your head to make it smaller but I like bigger buns.
-You can also make it flatter on your head by using hair pins (I don't have them yet but I know that's how you flatten it).

The last thing I am going to say about "The Bun" is that you can go messy like the one above or more of a top knot like the one in #3 for sleek buns. I like the top knot and messy bun but I don't ever do a sleek look because I look very odd. I like the baby hair's in my face!

Do you guys like "The Bun" look? Which bun do you prefer, the sleek look, messy look, top knot, or messy bun? I would love to hear your thoughts and if you guys have any tips for a better bun!
