What to Wear...to the beach

What to Wear...to the beach

Hey ladies,

For the month of March I am going to dedicate the What to Wear...to Spring Break since most "spring breaks" are in March! This particular one is the most important because Spring Break is never complete without some beach looks!
Always remember to bring the essentials: sun screen, flip flops, big hat, beach bag, sunglasses, and of course a bikini.

*Here is my dad and I at a private beach in Tortuga. You may not be able to see my bikini too well but it is a Victoria's Secret Bikini. Here is the close up of the bikini in the picture.

Oh and don't mind the white shoulders and cheeks! I sun burnt my face when I was younger so I have to be extremely careful tanning now! And here I also burnt my shoulders so I needed stronger tanning lotion. So learn from my mistake, WEAR SUN SCREEN!!

How beautiful! I love Caribbean Islands the water is crystal blue, the sun is perfect, and there is the perfect amount of wind so your not too hot!

I actually just bought 4 bikinis from Victoria's Secret about 3 months ago and let me tell you, I got them for a steal! I always try to buy swim suits months in advanced because they wont be as expensive.

Are any of you going anywhere for Spring Break? What are your essentials for a perfect Spring Break?

Celebrity Look Alike

celebrity look alike

For Today's Celebrity Look Alike I am featuring the amazingly stylish Kourtney Kardashian and Lauren Conrad.

Kourtney Kardashian is wearing a amazing outfit! I love the high wasted safari shorts and the amazing sky high platform heels! This look can easily be turned into a very causal look by throwing on flats instead of heels.

Oh and I tried to find a look alike tie-dye shirt but couldn't so I opted for a blue shirt but this outfits would also look good with a burgundy or white shirt too!

Lauren is wearing a more of a "date or girls night out" look. I love pairing a blazer with outfits because it really dresses up an outfit. Oh and lets not forget to mention those amazing shoes, who wouldn't love to rock this look for a night on the town.

Would any of you ladies wear either of these outfits and if so which one? Would you change anything about the outfits?

Celebrity Look ALike...Kourtney Kardashian

Celebrity Look ALike...Kourtney Kardashian

Hey guys,

Today's Celebrity Look Alike I am featuring the lovely Kourtney Kardashian in both looks. I absolutely adore her style so much, hence why she is in almost all of my Celebrity Looks Alike's.

I love these leopard shorts soooo much, I need to find them asap so I can wear them in the spring/summer! The blazer takes this outfit from cool and casual to dressy and chic!

If any of you know where to get these amazing leopard shorts, please  let me know!!

This next outfit is so cute, I love the bold necklace that she paired with this outfit because it adds that much needed color. The platform takes this whole outfit up a whole new level too! The only minus about this outfit is the skirt because it is very short and if your taller it might show a little too much skin! Luckily Kourtney is really short and can pull this skirt off.

I could only wish to have as great as style as Kourtney one day! She is my biggest fashion icon!

Which Kardashian do you guys like the best; Kourtney, Kim, or Khloe? Which of these 2 outfits would you guys pick to wear?

What to Wear...casual first date

What to Wear...casual first date

We all wonder what to wear on a date but what happens when it is a casual first date? This is a slippery slope because you don’t want to look too casual but you want him to think you look amazing in "regular" clothes, right? I'm not a big fan of showing my chest off because I have a big chest, so these outfits really don’t permit for you to show them off since they both are sweaters. (I'll make another casual date look down the road).

The first outfit it very casual and probably more for a colder spring/fall/summer date. I love the nautical striped sweater, fringed purse, and the turquoise shoes (Steve Madden’s new spring/summer sandals)! The jeans add a touch of sexiness to the outfit because of how tight they are.

The last outfit is something you wear when the weather is warmer. Since we’re really showing off the legs with the shorts, I definitely recommend covering up our upper body. I have been a big fan of animals on my clothes and I have no idea why, so this is why I picked this amazing sweater (not to mention, this shirt will make you look like an animal lover and what guy doesn’t love animals? SCORE!). This is a perfect outfit for a casual date because it’s laid back with a touch of sexy because of the short shorts! This would definitely be more of my style for a casual date.

Trends for Spring....Anoraks

Trends for Spring

During Fashion Week we saw a lot of Anorak jackets by many designers’ including, Jason Wu, Tommy Hilfiger, and Edun. Even walking through Woodfield Mall over the weekend so many stores (Forever 21, H&M, Love Culture) was showcasing these amazing and very versatile jackets! I love the laid back, casual look of the jackets because you can dress it up and dress it down.

My particular favorite of the jackets it the one with the fur because it will allow you to only wear the Anorak and still be warm. Of the colors, I like the olive/forest green and the grey because they are neutral colors and I love my neutral colors.
